Marked as an embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) incorporating the townland boundary with Pallishill SE-SW on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a D-shaped enclosure (ext. dims. c. 70m E-W; c. 65m N-S) truncated by the townland boundary at S and a N-S field bank at E on the 1924 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated on a shelf owards the top of a N and NW-facing slope of Pallis Hill, but nothing is visible in pasture at ground level.
