Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

Towards the bottom of a SW-facing slope in an E-W valley. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 34.6m WNW-ESE; 30.7m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank (at ESE: Wth 5.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1m) NNE-S which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.7m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse, but the entrance (Wth 1.5m) is at SSE. A large quarry (diam. 18m) with bushes occupies much of the SW interior.
