Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Rathnallog, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a broad plateau as a circular grass-covered area measuring thirty point four metres north-south and twenty-eight metres east-west. An earthen bank defines the perimeter, incorporates into a field bank on the southeast and west-southwest, and borders a flat-bottomed fosse that was re-dug as a drain. A narrow entrance opens at the north-northwest while another field bank extends northeast from the outer edge.
On a broad plateau. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.4m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-4m; int. H 0.3-0.5m; ext. H 1-1.5m) which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.5m) SE-WSW. There is a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of base 2.5-3m; D 0.3-0.7m) N-SE, which has been re-dug as a drain SE-WSW. The entrance (Wth 1.6m) is at NNW. A field bank of the field system (RO021-055----) extends NE from the perimeter at NE.
