What is recorded here
Marked as a rectangular embanked or moated enclosure (ext. dims. c. 40m N-S; c. 40m E-W) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in a low-lying landscape in the SE foothills of Reheennahoon Hill. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (dims. 32m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by the slight dip of back filled moats (Wth 14-16m; D 0.2m) at N and E and by field banks at S and W.
