What is recorded here

Situated on a low W-E spur with a NE-SW stream curving around the monument c. 50m to the N and c. 100m to the E. It is described by Barry (1977, 225, WX 96) as having had a flat platform, wet moat (Wth 2m; D 2m) and an external bank. It has been removed since 1977 but it is traceable as a slightly raised rectangular and grass-covered area (dims. c. 32m E-W; c. 24m N-S) defined by a slight scarp.
