Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Moyglass (ballintober North By., Ballygarden Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies an oval grass-covered area measuring 43m NE-SW and 34m NW-SE on the S-facing slope of a low E-W drumlin ridge. An earthen bank and outer fosse define the NW-NE perimeter, while the SW boundary reduces to a low scarp in reclaimed pasture. Rath (RO023-087----) lies approximately 135m to the W.
Just off the crest of a low E-W drumlin ridge, on the S-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 43m NE-SW; 34m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (at NE: Wth 4.5m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.6m) and outer fosse re-cut as a field drain (at NE: Wth of top 3.6m; Wth of base 1.5m; ext. D 0.7m) NW-NE, but the perimeter is reduced to a low scarp (at SW: H 0.2m) elsewhere in reclaimed pasture. Rath (RO023-087----) is c. 135m to the W.
