On a WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 40m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 8.2m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.6m) ENE-SE reduced to a scarp (H 1.2-1.6m) elsewhere with a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6m generally to 8.7m at N; Wth of base 3m generally to 6.7m at N; D 0.6-1.1m). There is no identifiable original entrance, and a NNE-SSW field bank overlies the monument towards the perimeter at E, the bank not being preserved E of this feature.
