Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilcloghan, County Roscommon, Ireland. It sits on the west-facing slope of a drumlin ridge overlooking Lough Incha, which lies about 150m to the west. The circular grass-covered area measures 32.5m across and is defined by an overgrown earthen bank separated by a fosse from an outer bank that survives only from the southwest to the northwest. No visible entrance remains, and a possible ringfort stands about 80m to the south.
Towards the top of the W-facing slope of an E-W drumlin ridge overlooking triangular Lough Incha (dims c. 500m NW-SE; c. 300m NE-SW), which is c. 150m to the W. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32.5m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 6-7.2m; int. H 0.6m at W to 1.15m at S; ext. H 1.4-1.55m) separated by a fosse (Wth of base 2.3m at W to 4.2m at S; D 0.1m at NNW to 0.9m at S) from an outer bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.10-0.2m) which only survives SW-NW. There is no visible entrance. The possible ringfort (RO017-138----) is c. 80m to the S.
