Marked as a rectangular embanked or moated enclosure (ext. dims c. 50m NW-SE; c. 50m NE-SW) only on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight NE-facing slope. It is not visible at ground level in rough pasture. (Barry 1977, 222, WX 71)
