What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45-50m) that is truncated by a NW-SE field bank or quarry face N-E on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a hilltop, it is not visible at ground level in an area that is now quarried. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
