Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Drumsillagh (boyle By., Tumna South Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a circular overgrown area thirty-two metres across on the west-facing slope of a drumlin near the east shore of Lough Eidin. An earthen bank three to four metres wide and up to one and a half metres high surrounds the site, though no entrance or inner ditch remains visible. Two other rath sites lie within one hundred and sixty metres to the east and southeast.
Towards the bottom of the W-facing slope of a drumlin, c. 50m from the E shore of a bay (dims c. 750m N-S; c. 350m E-W) at the N end of Lough Eidin. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 32m) defined by an earthen bank with trees (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.2-1.5m; ext. H 0.2-1.5m) N-E-S which has been augmented with spoil (ext. H 0.3-1m) elsewhere. There is an external drain S-W-N, but there is no visible fosse or entrance. A test excavation (98E0589) just to the SE failed to produce any evidence of outer features (Walsh 2000a). Rath (RO007-075----) is c. 160m to the E and rath (RO007-076----) is c. 150m to the SE.
