What is recorded here

At the S edge of a low plateau overlooking a broad basin to the S. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38.3m N-S; 35.2m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.4-5.5m; int. H 0.5m at E to 0.9m at N; ext. H 1-1.5m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) ESE-WSW, and a complete flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5.3m; Wth of base 1.8-2.3m; D 0.1-0.4m) which is best preserved (Wth of top 7.5m; Wth of base 4.3m; D 0.7m) NNW-NNE.
