Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cuiltyshinnoge, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle ENE-facing drumlin slope as a circular grass area measuring 39 metres north-south and 36 metres east-west. An earthen bank and hedge form most of the boundary, while a scarp completes the circle and an outer fosse surrounds the southeast, west and northeast sections. A modernized three-metre entrance opens at the south, and Rath RO017-145 stands about 50 metres to the northwest.
On a gentle ENE-facing slope of a drumlin. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 39m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 3.9m at S to 46m at N; int. H 0.6-0.8m; ext. H 1.3m) ESE-S-WNW which is incorporated into a field bank WNW-NNE, and by a scarp (H 0.9m) elsewhere. There is an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5m; Wth of base 1.3m at N to 2m at S; D 0.3m at S to 1m at N) SE-W-NNE, and the modernized entrance (Wth 3m) is at S. Rath (RO017-145----) is c. 50m to the NW.
