Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cuilmore (roscommon By., Ballygarden Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the crest of a south-facing drumlin slope and preserves a grass-covered oval bounded by an inner earthen bank, a surrounding fosse, and a partially remaining outer bank. A causeway links the two banks at the east side, while vegetation now spreads across the full extent of the structure.
At the crest of the S-facing slope of a low drumlin. Oval grass-covered area (dims c. 34m E-W; 27m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5.7m; int. H 0.6-1.1m; ext. H 1.7-2.2m) which is most massive (Wth 6.9m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 2.4-3m) E-S, separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5.6-8.3m; Wth of base 3.2-5m; D 1-1.6m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.5-5.2m; ext. H 1m) which has been incorporated into a field bank NW-NNE and removed NNE-NE. There is an entrance through the inner (Wth 2.8m) and outer (Wth 2.9m) banks and a causeway (Wth of top 3.6m; H 0.4-0.8m) at ESE. Both banks and the fosse are overgrown (max. ext. dims 66.6m E-W; 51m N-S). Rath (RO023-028----) is c. 150m to the NW.
