Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballagh (athlone North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. A 42-metre arc of its earthen bank survives from north-northeast to south, with slight traces of an outer fosse and bank to the east and south. Two other rath sites lie within 170 metres to the west, marking a small cluster of ancient earthworks on the eastern-facing slope.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on an E-facing slope of a W-E spur. An arc (C 42m) of an earthen bank (at ENE: Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.85m; ext. H 1.4m) survives NNE-S, with slight traces of an outer fosse and outer bank E-S. Rath (RO045-040----) is c. 170m to the WNW and rath (RO045-041----) is c. 150m to the WSW.
