Edzell Castle, Deer Park is a medieval deer park in Angus, Scotland, where fallow deer still move through grass and shadow. Ochterlony wrote about those deer around 1682, and a 1766 estate map drew the park beside the castle. The boundary has changed, but the idea remains clear: a place set apart for animals, beauty and human pride.

Edzell Castle, Deer Park was built by the Ogilvy family in the 15th century and later held by the Earls of Airlie. It is remembered as a significant example of a medieval deer park associated with a powerful Scottish noble family.
