Miloc’s church may have stood inside this enclosure, though no wall or stone still proves the claim. The land in Ballygortgarve keeps the shape of a boundary rather than the memory of a building, forcing imagination to finish what measurement stopped.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as ECCLESIASTICAL ENCLOSURE (possibly related to the Church of Miloc). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
