What is recorded here
Situated towards the bottom of an E-facing slope. This is an early ecclesiastical site which may have been enclosed by a circular bank (Power 1952, 375). Subrectangular grass-covered area (dims. 30m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 7m) at S, an external scarp (Wth 6.5m; H 1m) at E and an internal scarp at W, but the perimeter at N is indistinct. A D-shaped bullaun stone (WA016-068003-) is built into the S face of a field bank to the N, and a second bullaun (WA016-068004-) was found NE of the site during land reclamation and is kept at the location.
