What is recorded here

In upland pasture immediately E of the townland boundary with Ballynacourty and 100m S of a large forestry plantation. Not depicted on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 22m) enclosed by a bank from SW-N-E reduced to a scarp elsewhere. Outline of circular cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
