In reclaimed pasture, 230m NW of townland boundary with Mitchelstowndown East, Garryspillane House lies 325m to the NE. Enclosure (LI049-017----) lies 130m to the W. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as potential site immediately W of a post-1700 field boundary running N-S on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; 2578, Site 251) taken 03/11/1984. Faint outline visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Faint cropmark of levelled earthwork visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
