Earthwork in Newtown (coshlea By.)

In pasture, located within a field system (LI049-048001-), in N quadrant of a group of monuments (LI049-048001/004-). Not marked on OSi 6-inch maps. Earthwork identified on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; Site 317; Strip Map 3 Site 3/32) taken 03/11/1984. Monument visible as a rectangular-shaped cropmark (dims. c. 21m N-S; 35m E-W) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13.
