In reclaimed pasture 50m N of townland boundary with Ballynamona. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a potential site (site No. 040227) during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2553) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Faint oultine of irregular-shaped cropmark (dims. 48m NS x 60m E-W)visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages. See attached Bord Gáis Éireann aerial photograph and Google Earth orthoimages.
