What is recorded here

A line of hachures (50m E-W) on the 1914 OS 6-inch map may indicate the remains of an earthwork on top of Carrickard ridge. A cliff-edge ridge (300m E-W; 120m N-S) is indicated here on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. The earthwork could not be located due to dense overgrowth.
