In wet pasture 20m S of the Assaroola River that marks the townland boundary with Ballynamuddagh and immediately NE of a forestry plantation. Enclosure (LI050-007----) lies 170m to N. Depicted on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular-shaped platform. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. c. 23m) defined by a scarp. Surveyed by the ASI in 1999 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. 24m) defined by a scarp (Wth 1.3m; H 1.1m) with fosse (Wth 2.2m) that is widest at the SW (Wth 8.6m) where it may indicate an entrance feature. Truncated at NW by possible drainage ditch running N-S. Intersected from N-E by a curving field boundary. Partially overgrown monument visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
