Bohola holds a possible earthwork beneath wet rush-grown pasture, beside a rath on rising ground. Recent field drains and cultivation ridges cut across the area, suggesting human hands shaped the land repeatedly. The older work may still lie hidden under water, soil and forgetting.

Located in an expanse of wet rush-grown pasture. There is a rath (MA071-079001-) on rising ground on the SE margins of the area. Listed in the RMP (1997) as ‘Earthwork (s) –possible’ on the basis of features visible in an aerial photo (GSI M 691 -0; Roll 217, pr. 33). Remnants of rectilinear field divisions and field drains traverse this area on NNE-SSW and WNW–ESE axes. Relict cultivation ridges on a roughly E–W axis can be seen in parts.
