What is recorded here

Bowman (1934, 158) recorded ' a peculiar earthen formation, which appears to have been a lime-kiln', which is known locally as 'a lios'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
