In reclaimed pasture 150m E of townland boundary with Ballingayrour. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible sub-rectangular shaped earthwork identified from examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 52) taken 11/09/1982 as part of Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Monument is visible as a sub-rectangular-shaped area (dims. c. 38m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by a fosse intersected at N and SE by field boundaries on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13. Visible as a faint cropmark on Google Earth orthoimages.
