In reclaimed pasture, 160m NW of Morningstar River that forms townland boundary with Baggotstown West. Ballincolloo House lies 90m to the SE. A possible enclosure (LI040-265----) lies 50m to the SW. Identified as a possible cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 121; AP 5/2107). Faint trace of circular-shaped cropmark visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Possible outline of circular-shaped cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/03/2018. Linear cropmarks running N-S and E-W visible on Digital Globe orthoimage, may represent drainage channels associated with landscaping and reclamation works for Ballincolloo House.
