That is the shape of the place: a trap built by men, defeated by men, now surrendering to forgetfulness.

Dysart Island, located off the coast of Fife in Scotland, was home to a medieval monastic site associated with the Knights Hospitaller. The island's historical significance lies in its religious and strategic role during the Middle Ages, with the remains of a 13th-century chapel and buildings still visible today.
