What is recorded here

65, 67 and 69 Castle Street stand together in Broughty Ferry, built in the 19th century as tenement housing. They are not a showpiece or a public attraction, but ordinary stone rooms where families lived, argued, buried people and forgot to leave lights out. Castle Street still moves like a small town street, busy at dinner time and quiet after midnight. The odd part is not history, but continuity: the buildings still ask people to occupy them.
