Dublin and Monaghan bombings

Thirty-three civilians died and nearly three hundred were wounded when coordinated car bombs struck Dublin and Monaghan on 17 May 1974. The Ulster Volunteer Force claimed responsibility decades later, yet no person was ever charged. Victims' families still campaign for withheld British documents that may reveal state involvement in the deadliest attack of the Troubles.
