Drumgoon Grave Yard is a fairy fort in County Cavan, an earthen ringfort that belongs to the old world of myth and memory. People may have buried their dead there before fairy forts became fairy forts, or the fairies may have taken the place later and worn the human shape off it. Either way the mound still stands, holding whatever was set down inside it.
