Donnacha Dennehy

Donnacha Dennehy is an Irish composer born in Dublin in 1970 who co-founded the Crash Ensemble to champion contemporary classical music. He studied at Trinity College Dublin and the University of Illinois before returning home to shape a generation of sound through works like Grá Agus Bás and The Last Hotel. His compositions weave microtones, sean nós tradition and stark human drama into music that remains vivid across stages from Edinburgh to New York.
