What is recorded here

Dinefwr Park viewed from Dinefwr Castle is a castle, fort or tower in Sir Gaerfyrddin / Carmarthenshire, Wales. Perhaps the castle watched the park like a jealous guardian, claiming every shadow and breath of green. Maybe people wandered below while the stones above remembered older hunger. Imagine the view turning backward, the castle watching us instead.

Dinefwr Castle was built by the Welsh princes of Deheubarth, notably Rhys ap Gruffydd (Rhys the Lord of the West), in the 12th century. It is historically significant as a symbol of Welsh resistance and as the seat of the rulers of the ancient kingdom of Dyfed.
