Denny Cordell

Denny Cordell died in Dublin, Ireland, on 18 February 1995 at age fifty-one, ending a life that moved from Argentine birth to English studios, American labels, and later Irish soil. He shaped the sound of The Moody Blues, Procol Harum, Joe Cocker, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, then redirected that same restless energy into roller skating, horseracing, and new record work. His death came suddenly enough to leave behind songs, studios, and memories rather than a finished story.
