Deerpark Fort is an oval rath on the SE slopes of Redmond Hill in County Galway. Its low stony bank still holds traces of inner wall-facing, while whitethorn trees mark the edge like sentinels. The external fosse curves from SE through W to N, though modern landscaping has widened parts of the circuit. A narrow gap at ESE may be original, leaving the fort both defined and slightly open to imagination.

Prominently located on the SE slopes of Redmond Hill. This oval rath (42m E-W; 35m N-S), in fair condition, is defined by a low stony bank with traces of inner wall-facing at N and ESE. Whitethorn trees have been planted at regular intervals along it. An external fosse is evident from SE through W to N. From WSW through N to NNE it has been widened considerably as a result of modern landscaping. A gap (Wth 2.5m) at ESE may be original.
