Davidstown Ringfort (rath)

Davidstown Ringfort stands in County Kilkenny, a circular earthwork where people likely lived, worked and watched the land. The soil may still hold the shape of wooden doors, hearth pits and crowded rooms. That much is missing, but the ridge remains clear enough to imagine hands pressing it level under rain.
