What is recorded here

Dallan is a subrectangular standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, rising ninety centimetres above pasture on an east-facing slope. Its long axis points north-northeast to south-southwest, and it remains unmarked on both the 1842 and 1904 Ordnance Survey maps. The stone may have guided herds, marked a boundary or waited for people whose names never reached the surveyors.

Not marked on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. In pasture, on E-facing slope. Stone (H 0.9m; 0.52m x 0.3m) is subrectangular in plan, long axis NNE-SSW.
