Cyclopean Wall

On level ground to SW of Port Mhuirbhigh and 180m SE of Teampall Mac Duagh (GA110-044001-). Poorly preserved early ecclesiastical enclosure (NW-SE c. 73m) defined from NNW through N to S by a low collapsed stone wall. Traces of an outer revetment occur at E. From S to SW, a natural limestone scarp appears to define and overlook the interior (but see also GA110-044002-). No visible surface traces of this enclosure survive elsewhere. Traces of internal subdivisions occur at E. Near the centre stands Teampall na Naomh (GA110-073001-).
