Twenty-three cups carve the overgrown rock beside Kilmoe graveyard, each no wider than a child’s palm. They sit immediately south of the entrance, half-swallowed by vegetation but still clear enough to count. The size suggests deliberate striking rather than water erosion, yet no hand remains to explain the rhythm. A person may have sat there in darkness, marking time or mapping memory into stone before forgetting why.
