What is recorded here

Crusheenlinniv is a buried triangular graveyard, four metres across at the meeting of three roads in County Cork. It is no longer visible because tar covers the place where dead people once lay beneath the living path. The roads still cross above the forgotten dead, carrying wheels and footsteps across what was once quiet soil.
Triangular area (4m x 4m) at meeting point of 3 roads; now tarred over. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
