Cruac=an=Tein is a degraded earthen ringfort in County Galway, its bank fading into undulating grassland while a hidden passage may still cut through the interior. The site belongs to the old fairy-fort tradition, where human boundaries blur and the ground remembers lives no longer named. Its shallow circle suggests a place of threshold rather than defence, inviting wonder about who entered, what they avoided, and why the earth still holds the shape of that choice.

Encompassing a hillock in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 21m, N-S 19m) defined by a degraded bank from NE through S to NW, and elsewhere by a straightened-off scarp. There is a possible Man-made underground passage (GA016-115001-) within the interior.
