CROSSES (2) in MULTIPERIOD CHURCH & GRAVEYARD

What is recorded here

Two crosses stand beside a church and graveyard in Eglish, County Armagh, carrying marks from several human periods. They belong to State Care, yet their exact ages remain uncertain beneath the MED, L.MED and POST-MED labels. The stones may have guided prayers, marked deaths or simply watched the field change hands across centuries.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CROSSES (2) in MULTIPERIOD CHURCH & GRAVEYARD. Recorded period: MED/L.MED; POST-MED; UNCERTAIN; E.CHRIST.. Recorded protection: State Care. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
