Location: 1m E of the NE corner of Priest's House (29 August 2005). Recumbent slab 1.95m L, 0.44m wide at W and 0.60m at E with inscribed cross on face. Date of upload: 10 October 2012
Dated to the early medieval period, likely between the 8th and 11th centuries, the cross-slab may have served a Christian commemorative or waymarking function. Such slabs are often associated with ecclesiastical sites or early Christian pilgrimage routes.
