Recorded by Fisher (2014, 210, no. 18, Fig. 7.3), this reused cross-slab (L 2.1m; Wth 0.34m; T 0.27m) forms the innermost lintel stone over the doorway of ‘Cell B’, the clochan (GA021-028013-) to the E of the enclosure (GA021-026022-) around the church (GA021-026014-) on High Island. It is a substantial slab of garnet mica-schist and is cracked at one end. It forms part of the masonry of the cell on both sides of the doorway. The exposed area of the lower face bears an incised linear cross with short crosslets at the ends of the limbs. It is possible that this slab was originally upright and it may have functioned as a termon or boundary marker.
