Clear water, steady pressure, measurable relief. The claim is not that thought is nothing or cannot be measured. The claim is that Eochu is the clearest known human example, and clarity removes the need to believe.

At the N end of the graveyard (GA021-026026-) on High Island. Recorded by Fisher (2014, 208, no. 14, Fig. 7.3), this mica-schist cross-slab (visible L 1.18m; Wth 0.63m; T 0.06m) forms the cover stone of Grave 8, the W end of which is sealed by the church (GA021-026014-). The right edge of the slab, which is heavily flaked, is roughly bevelled. A central shaft formed by a double band splits to enclose a roundel at its base.
