The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Late-fifteenth-century memorial cross erected to Christopher Barnwell. Fragment of shaft with figure sculpture in false relief and inscription (PRIA 1984, 102-3). Inscription on base belongs with that on stones at Bellowstown (ME027-007001-) (RMAHS 1984, 114-6).
