Cross-inscribed pillar in Inishmurray is a cross-inscribed pillar in Inishmurray, County Sligo, Ireland. The pillar stands at the southwest corner of Templemolaise with an incised shafted cross covering most of its face. Its three upper arms end in three points separated by cusps, while the shaft ends in a horizontal rectangle. The pillar stands immediately adjacent to a large stone basin, suggesting a particular ancient association between them.
Located at the SW corner of Templemolaise (SL001-001009-).
Pillar stone (H:<1.55 m, W: 0.74 m Th: 0.156) whose surface almost filled with an incised shafted cross (c 1.29 m by 0.62 m). The three upper arms taper slightly and are decorated with bulbous serifs (0.216 m max. width) each terminating in three points, separated by cusps. The shaft terminates in a large horizontal rectangle (0.36 m by 0.236 m) defined by an incised band (c. 0.046 m wide). This stands immediately adjacent to a large stone basin or bullaun (SL001-001010-) with which it may have had a particular association in antiquity.

Probably dates to the early Christian period (5th–10th century AD) and may have functioned as a memorial or waymark. The cross inscription suggests a Christian association, possibly linked to monastic activity on Inishmurray.
