Cross in Lissagriffin — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Half-buried inside the church door at Lissagriffin, a plain stone cross waits for rain or memory to reveal what it marked. Its small Latin shape faces east, pointing toward light instead of display. The ground has taken the stem, suggesting age, patience or neglect. Whatever it recorded, it still stands where people passed, quiet but unwilling to leave.

Stone (H 0.38m; 0.36m x 0.08m) standing inside door of church (CO147-024002-) within graveyard (CO147-024002-). Plain Latin cross (H 0.27m; Wth 0.25m) incised on E face; stem now partially buried beneath ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
