Headland

What is recorded here

Creag an t-Sagairt is shown as a headland on the public map of Na h-Eileanan Siar. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Creag an t-Sagairt is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature located in the Western Isles (Na h-Eileanan Siar), likely composed of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in Scotland, dating back over 2,700 million years. These metamorphic rocks formed deep within the Earth's crust through intense heat and pressure, and the feature is notable as part of the ancient geological foundation of the Scottish landscape.
